So annoyed. I Booked an appointment with another doctor other than my regular one I've been seeing since I was a little girl (as he was away on holidays), when I got there I was told that UFS members possibly get charged a $70 fee for seeing another doctor (depending on whether the doctor feels like charging extra or not), so I asked the receptionist to call Dr. Joshi and ask if he was going to charge me for my appointment, which he said he would because I don't have a pension card as I'm 21 years old even though I have a Medicare card.

Jayne Burnell - you go directly to a hospital if you're having breathing difficulties - you don't walk into a medical practice with which you have absolutely no association unless it is a life-threatening emergency. Do you honestly expect the practice to put all its patient appointments behind because you've randomly chosen to walk in demanding to see a doctor? No medical practice works like that. Next time, head to your closest hospital Emergency Department and don't write bad reviews that are completely unjustified!

Certainly not the best value medical service in town and the humbugging of complimentary remedies at their pharmacies have forced me elsewhere. Seriously looking at doing likewise with medical as well. Sad really because the I have always found their doctors pretty good.

So hard to get a appointment with my normal doctor!! Let just predict I'll be sick in 2-3 weeks

If they insist on being greedy, maybe it would be a good idea to tell patients this over the phone instead of wasting everyone's time and not even being able to re-book with my regular who is "fully booked" when he gets back.

Room for improvement, should be better than this. Waited on the phone eight and a half minutes listening to their ads to find that their computer system is still down (my second call this morning) so rather than potentially wasting my time and money I had to cancel my appointment. Frustrating and stressful as I am awaiting results and am going away today.

Absolutely disgusting, it's obvious when doctors only care about the money rather than helping people. The government pays his doctors wage, he obviously just wanted the extra money or a 10 minute break because I decided to cancel the appointment.

Absolutely disgusted! I'm a tourist, driven from Sydney and was not feeling well with difficulty breathing, possible chest infection. Googled the closest Medical Centre and went to UFS. The recepionist asked if I had an an appointment, I explained my situation and she said 'We don't do Walk Ins, you will have to go somewhere else that does Walk Ins'. Soo glad I was only having difficulty breathing and not a heart attack. UFS dose not deserve to be called a Medical Centre!!!
